Marathon, the mind sport

In and out
Deeper and deeper
Breathe moving in rhythm
That is wind instrument...

Pounding heart and foot
There goes the percussion

Sweat
Heat
Life brought alive
And moving..

Nervous energy
Brings string instrument

A running Human
Is a symphony

A symphony
Not by many

A symphony
By me vs. me!

Enough
Enough
Slow down
Stop! please!
Not any more
Drags down the mind

Fatigue
Pain
The Wall
Boredom are
the mind's friends

Just do it
Just once
With auto suggestions
I cajole

Training
Target
Contest
Travel
Smell of success
Visualization of victory
are the other friends..

Me Vs Myself
The Marathon
Is a game of chess

I am the board
I am the pieces
I checkmate myself

I am the game
I am the applause
I am the reward

Life is a sport
Or
Sport is Life?

Whatever

I keep running

Questions

1. When does the Child get the awareness, that the reflection in the mirror is its own, and not someone else's?

2. How does the kid translate the alphabets from an object frame of reference to alphabetic reference? For example, "A for Apple" is understood as A is an apple - big, shiny, juicy fruit.
How does the kid unlearn?

3. How do we get into the Maayaa that we are going to live in this world forever and silently suffer through delayed gratification. Just look around. There are lasting monuments, buildings, investment plans for which we pay heavy EMI through the nose / ass ... Is it how we are designed?

4. Why is the crime rate so low, as against the wide gap of haves and the have nots? What is holding back the society of several million have nots from robbing the haves? (I am amazed at the integrity and honesty of people, who have had very little education, poor upbringing and economically poor lifestyle. Is it hardwired?

5. from where does the "right" and "wrong" come? Is it the mind? If so, which part of the mind - conscious/ sub-conscious / unconscious mind? or is it a function of the spirit/ soul?
