Kids were open-mouthed excited n thrilled
very Up close @ the ring.
Enough to
see n smell
horses and elephants,
parrots and people..
I smelt
the sweat and suffering
In 40 somethings
aging clowns
@50 what security they own?
Under 18 performers
dazzling in patched attire..
Half full arena
- a satire.
Bolly wood comes nowhere close
Stars and sirens we pay in crores.
Circus takes no retakes
Shows that are breathtaking
Any mistake? breath taking.
Practice a million times,
acts in synchrony
performance the only crony..
This takeaway is mine
Life is a circus perpetual
No retirement - thatz actual
Recession or sunshine
My life is mine.
Claps n Cheers
don't distract
The pain and sweat
all for my bread
Up and down I sway
Its all roles I play.
The show is coming to an end
Life is a circus - never pretend.
